GamCare's CEO, Anna Hemmings, left the organisation after entering in January 2018 and leaving just now.

Hemmings has extensive expertise in senior management and addictions rehabilitation in the business and nonprofit sectors prior to taking the position. Hemmings led the organisation throughout her time there, expanding its scope and securing new financing arrangements while providing GamCare with direction and leadership throughout the Covid-19 epidemic.

A UK nonprofit organisation called GamCare offers free counselling, knowledge, and support to anyone who are impacted by gaming. There is a "recovery toolkit" that may be used to assist you get help, including software to restrict access to gambling websites and marketing messages, self-exclusion guidance, money management, as well as workbooks and self-guided materials to let people get help at their own speed.

GamCare, Gamban, and Gamstop recently announced that GambleAware has extended the financing for their collaborative initiative, TalkBanStop, by three years.

"It has been an enormous privilege to work in this fantastic charity over the last few years," ex-GamCare CEO Hemmings stated. GamCare has undergone so many good changes in that period that tens of thousands more people in need of care are now being helped than they were five years ago.

Her vast change management experience played a crucial role in GamCare's decision to extend its exceptional services beyond the hotline and establish treatment services around the UK.
